Poultry Disinfectant

ALSTASAN SILVOX (Silver Hydrogen Peroxide based Biodegradable Poultry Disinfectant) addresses the concerned areas of poultry sheds when used accordingly for the respective media. The no-rinse, no-neutralization property makes its usage hassle-free. Eco-friendly water and oxygen residues make this biocide safe for animals safeguarding them against poultry diseases. 

Air Fumigation/ Aerial Fogging:

This effective biocide is diluted at a given concentration and fumigated using a fogging machine to disinfect various poultry shed areas.

Areas of Application:

• Terminal shed disinfection
• Chick breeding area disinfection
• Incubator tank disinfection
• Egg storage tank disinfection

Effective against the following poultry diseases:

• Coccidiosis, by Eimeria sp., identified by reduced weight, ruffled feathers,  blood drenched faeces , poor efficiency
• Infectious Bursal Disease, by Birnavirus is identified by unsteadiness, depression, reduced appetite, diarrhoea
• Fowl cholera, by Pasteurella multocida is identified by ruffled feathers, diarrhoea, nasal ocular oral discharge, swollen and discoloured wattles, accompanied by sudden death
• Marek’s disease, by GaHV-2 virus identified by paralyzed legs and wings, weight reduction, impaired vision, tumours of feather follicles
• Newcastle’s disease, by Newcastle Disease Virus is identified by reduced appetite and egg production, diarrhoea, paralysis with twisted necks
• Mycoplasma, by Mycoplasma gallisepticum, is identified by stunted growth, reduced appetite and egg production, nasal and ocular discharges, twisted legs

Water Disinfection:

A recommended quantity of the product is added to water, rendering it both safe and sanitized.

• Sanitary disinfection

Surface Sanitation:

Alstasan Silvox diluted and safely sprayed on surfaces, or circulated through pipelines for an appropriate contact time, for clean disinfected surfaces.

• Egg table disinfection

• Mycoplasma, by Mycoplasma gallisepticum, is identified by stunted growth, reduced appetite and egg production, nasal and ocular discharges, twisted legs
• Salmonellosis, by Salmonella sp., accounts for diarrhoea, appetite loss, closed eyes, and depression
