ALSTASAN SILVOX (Silver Hydrogen Peroxide based Biodegradable Floriculture Disinfectant) addresses the following areas of concern without causing harmful/toxic effects.
Method of application:
Regular treatment by Drench method:
A fair dilution of the disinfectant is made and the solution is drenched to each plant every 15-30 days. Helps in treating the following diseases:
- Bacterial Blight, by Xanthomonas axonopodis is seen as V shaped lesions around the leaf margins
- Ralstonia solanacearum accounts for Bacterial Leaf Wilting, with slow progressing chlorosis and a brown sap oozing out of the stem when cut
- Damping Off when young stems become girdled with the upper plant portion breaking off being unable to support the weight, is caused by Rhizoctonia solani
- Phytophthora Root Rot by Phytophthora sp., Pythium splendens is seen as general progression of wilting, with black to brown leaf lesions
- Black Nose Disease by Colletotrichum gloeosporioides is identified as the name suggests, as black spots on the spadex (nose) of the flowers that enlarge and consume the whole nose over time
Regular treatment by Spray method:
A solution of the disinfectant is made and sprayed on the plants once in every 7-15 days helps in treating the following diseases:
- Ralstonia solanacearum accounts for Bacterial Leaf Wilting, with slow progressing chlorosis and a brown sap oozing out of the stem when cut
- Black Nose Disease by Colletotrichum gloeosporioides is identified as the name suggests, as black spots on the spadex (nose) of the flowers that enlarge and consume the whole nose over time
Regular treatment by Drip method:
The disinfectant is added to irrigation water and fed to the soil bed through drip line. It is advised to repeat this process once in every 15 days. Helps in the treatment of the following diseases:
- Black Nose Disease by Colletotrichum gloeosporioides is identified as the name suggests, as black spots on the spadex (nose) of the flowers that enlarge and consume the whole nose over time
Soil fumigation:
A solution of this disinfectant is applied uniformly on the moistened soil beds. Helps in the treatment of the following:
- Ralstonia solanacearum accounts for Bacterial Leaf Wilting, with slow progressing chlorosis and a brown sap oozing out of the stem when cut
- Phytophthora Root Rot by Phytophthora sp., Pythium splendens is seen as general progression of wilting, with black to brown leaf lesions
