ALSTASAN SILVOX (Silver Hydrogen Peroxide based Biodegradable Agriculture Disinfectant) addresses the following areas of concern without causing harmful/toxic effects.

 

Method of application:

Regular treatment by Drench method:

A fair dilution of this disinfectant is made and the solution is drenched to the soil in potato farming every 15-30 days. Helps in treating the following potato diseases:

  • Late blight, by Phytophthera infestans is identified by irregularly shaped necrotic spots on the leaves, that give off a pungent smell when severely affected
  • Black scurf, by Rhizoctonia solani is identified by irregular dark brown fruiting bodies on the tuber surface, leading to misshaped tubers with red-brown to black sunken lesions, which may encircle the stem causing the leaves to curl up and turn yellow
  • Leak, by Pythium sp., causes internal tissues to become spongy, that exude dark watery fluid when squeezed
  • Pink rot, caused by Phytophthora erythroseptica reduces plant growth, decays tuber, with dark brown eyes on the tuber that turn pink to brown to black when exposed to air
  • Root knot nematodes (Meloidogyne sp.) leading to gall formation on the roots, and reduces plant life 

Regular treatment by Spray method:

A solution of this disinfectant is sprayed on the plants once in every 7-15 days for preventing the following diseases in potato cultivation:

  • Late blight, by Phytophthera infestans is identified by irregularly shaped necrotic spots on the leaves, that give off a pungent smell when severely affected

Regular treatment by Drip method: 

This product is added to irrigation water and fed to the soil bed through a drip line. It is advised to repeat this process once in every 15 days to ensure a disinfected tomato cultivation. Helps in preventing/ treatment of:

  • Root knot nematodes (Meloidogyne sp.) leading to gall formation on the roots, and reduces plant life 

Soil Fumigation: 

A solution is made and applied uniformly on moistened soil beds during tomato cultivation. Helps in the treatment of:

  • Root knot nematodes (Meloidogyne sp.) leading to gall formation on the roots, and reduces plant life
