ALSTASAN SILVOX (Silver Hydrogen Peroxide based Biodegradable Agriculture Disinfectant) addresses the following areas of concern without causing harmful/toxic effects.
Method of application:
Regular treatment by Spray method:
A solution of the disinfectant is sprayed on the plants once in every 7-15 days helps in treating the following barley diseases:
- Xanthomonas campestris causing bacterial blight, identified by slower plant growth, and glossy yellow to brown streaks on foliage
- Basal glume rot, caused by Pseudomonas syringae, causes brown discolouration at the glume base, and yellow necrotic leafspots
- Downy mildew identified by deformed plants, with leathery leaves, is caused by Sclerophthora rayssiae
Regular treatment by Drench method:
A fair dilution of this disinfectant is made and drenched to the soil every 15-30 days that helps in treating the following diseases:
- Brown lesions, death of lower leaves, with rotten roots is caused by Bipolaris sorokiniana, Cochliobolus sativus, Fusarium culmorum, Fusarium graminearum
- Basal glume rot, caused by Pseudomonas syringae, causes brown discolouration at the glume base, and yellow necrotic leafspots
Regular treatment by Drip method:
The disinfectant is added to irrigation water and fed to the soil bed through a drip line to ensure a disinfected barley cultivation. It is advised to repeat this process once in every 15 days.
