ALSTASAN SILVOX (Silver Hydrogen Peroxide based Biodegradable Agriculture Disinfectant) addresses the following areas of concern without causing harmful/toxic effects.

Method of application:

Regular treatment by Drip method:

The disinfectant is added to irrigation water and fed to the soil bed through drip line. It is advised to repeat this process once in every 15 days.

  • Pythium sp., Rhizoctonia solani causes soft, rotting seeds that fail to germinate; water soaked reddish lesions encircle the stem at the soil line collapsing the seedlings
  • Xanthomonas campestris causes small yellow leaf spots which expand to distorted brown lesions that dry out forming curled and distorted leaves
  • Soft rot, caused by Erwinia carotovora, Erwinia chrysanthemi, Pseudomonas marginalis, is identified by sunken gray-orange root lesions softens and collapses the tissue
  • Cavity spots, by Pythium sp. are sunken gray lesions all over the roots, which may merge to form cavities
  • Pests like nematodes (Meloidogyne sp., Paratrichodorus sp., etc.) causes gall formation in the roots, which reduce plant life and vigour

Regular treatment by Spray method:

A solution of the disinfectant is made and sprayed on the plants once in every 7-15 days helps in treating:

  • Xanthomonas campestris causes small yellow leaf spots which expand to distorted brown lesions that dry out forming curled and distorted leaves
  • Powdery mildew, by Erisyphe heraclei shows powdery growth on foliage with severe infections accounting for distorted leaves
  • Soft rot, caused by Erwinia carotovora, Erwinia chrysanthemi, Pseudomonas marginalis, is identified by sunken gray-orange root lesions softens and collapses the tissue

Regular treatment by Drench method:

A fair dilution of the disinfectant is made and the solution is drenched to each plant every 15-30 days. Helps in treating the following diseases:

  • Pythium sp., Rhizoctonia solani causes soft, rotting seeds that fail to germinate; water soaked reddish lesions encircle the stem at the soil line collapsing the seedlings
  • Cavity spots, by Pythium sp. are sunken gray lesions all over the roots, which may merge to form cavities
  • Soft rot, caused by Erwinia carotovora, Erwinia chrysanthemi, Pseudomonas marginalis, is identified by sunken gray-orange root lesions softens and collapses the tissue
  • Pests like nematodes (Meloidogyne sp., Paratrichodorus sp., etc.) causes gall formation in the roots, which reduce plant life and vigour

Soil fumigation:

A solution of this disinfectant is applied uniformly on the moistened soil beds. Helps in the treatment of the following:

  • Soft rot, caused by Erwinia carotovora, Erwinia chrysanthemi, Pseudomonas marginalis, is identified by sunken gray-orange root lesions softens and collapses the tissue
  • Pests like nematodes (Meloidogyne sp., Paratrichodorus sp., etc.) cause gall formation in the roots, which reduce plant life and vigour
