ALSTASAN SILVOX (Silver Hydrogen Peroxide based Biodegradable Floriculture Disinfectant) addresses the following areas of concern without causing harmful/toxic effects.
Method of application:
Regular treatment by Drip method:
The disinfectant is added to irrigation water and fed to the soil bed through a drip line to ensure disinfection in rose cultivation. It is advised to repeat this process once in every 15 days. Helps in the treatment of the following diseases:
- Botrytis blight by Botrytis cinerea, accounts for spotted foliage with gray fungal spores on the decaying tissue, leading to complete defoliation and death
- Anthracnose, by Sphaceloma rosarum, accounts for red-gray spots with black fungal fruiting bodies on the upper side of the leaves
Regular treatment by Drench method:
A fair dilution of this disinfectant is made and drenched to each plant every 15-30 days. Helps in treating the following diseases of rose farming:
- Powdery mildew results in a dusty white velvety coating on the plant foliage, caused by Podosphaera pannosa var. rosae
- Downy mildew, by Peronospora sparsa, identified by pale leaves with white, brownish or olive mildew on lower leaf surfaces
