Disinfection in Apricot Cultivation

ALSTASAN SILVOX (Silver Hydrogen Peroxide based Biodegradable Agriculture Disinfectant) addresses the following areas of concern without causing harmful/toxic effects.

Method of application:

Regular treatment by Drip method:

This disinfectant is added to irrigation water and fed to the soil bed through a drip line. It is advised to repeat this process once in every 15 days for disinfection in apricot cultivation.

• Botrytis cinerea, Sclerotinia sclerotiorum, Monolinia sp. causes Jacket rot identified by brown discolouration of fruits from the inside
• Dieback identified by stunted withered leaves, with dark blights on wood, is caused by Eutypa lata

Regular treatment by Spray method:

A solution of the disinfectant is sprayed on the plants once in every 7-15 days helps in treating:

• Phytophthora sp. causes Phytophthora root and crown rot that reduces plant growth with bright coloured fruits subject to tanning. The decay symptoms gradually turn into cankers
