Disinfection in Cabbage Cultivation

ALSTASAN SILVOX (Silver Hydrogen Peroxide based Biodegradable Agriculture Disinfectant) addresses the following areas of concern without causing harmful/toxic effects.

Method of application:

Regular treatment by Drip method:

This disinfectant is added to irrigation water and fed to the soil bed through a drip line for disinfecting cabbage plants. It is advised to repeat this process once in every 15 days.

• Stunted and twisted yellow plants caused by fungus Fusarium yellows
• Rhizoctonia solani infection results in dead seedlings, root rot, stunted growth, and smaller heads
• Black rot by Xanthomonas campestris seen as yellow lesions on the leaf edges that expand till the midrib forming a characteristic V shape which give the plant a scorched appearance

Regular treatment by Drench method:

A fair dilution is made to wet the soil every 15-30 days with the product. Helps in treating the following diseases:

• Stunted and twisted plants with yellow leaves, fungus, Fusarium yellows
• Rhizoctonia solani, dead seedlings, root rot, stunted growth, smaller heads
• Downy mildew, by Peronospora parasitica, identified by pale leaves with white, brownish or olive mildew on lower leaf surfaces

Regular treatment by Spray method:

A solution of Alstasan Silvox is sprayed on the cabbage plants once in every 7-15 days which helps in treating the following diseases: 

• Downy mildew, by Peronospora parasitica, identified by pale leaves with white, brownish or olive mildew on lower leaf surfaces
• Alternaria brassicae cause dark leaf spots with/ without lesions around them, is known as Alternaria Leaf Spot 

Soil Fumigation:

A solution of this disinfectant is applied uniformly on the moistened soil beds. Helps in the treatment of the following:

• Alternaria brassicae cause dark leaf spots with/ without lesions around them, is known as Alternaria Leaf Spot
