ALSTASAN SILVOX (Silver Hydrogen Peroxide based Biodegradable Agriculture Disinfectant) addresses the following areas of concern without causing harmful/toxic effects.

Method of application:

Regular treatment by Drench method:

A fair dilution of the disinfectant is made and the solution is drenched to each plant every 15-30 days. Helps in treating the following diseases:

  • Bacterial spot by Xanthomonas campestris, identified as brown lesions on leaf undersides, with cracked/ open fruits
  • Damping off, caused by fungal species like Pythium sp., Rhizoctoniasolani, does not let seeds germinate, with wilted dark stems near the soil line that easily perish
  • Powdery mildew results in a dusty white velvety coating on leaves and fruit, caused by fungi like Podosphaera sp., Erysiphe sp., Leveillula sp., Oidium sp., Sphaerotheca sp., Uncinula sp.
  • Sudden wilting caused by a complex interaction between Pythium sp.(P. myriotylum, P. aphanidermatum), Fusarium sp., and high soil temperature- water association, identified by yellow wilted leaves, and sudden reduction in foliage, producing small fruits
  • Root knot nematodes (Meloidogyne sp.) leading to gall formation on the roots, reducing plant life

Regular treatment by Drip method:

The disinfectant is added to irrigation water and fed to the soil bed through drip line. It is advised to repeat this process once in every 15 days.

  • Root knot nematodes (Meloidogyne sp.) leading to gall formation on the roots, reducing plant life

Soil fumigation:

A solution of this disinfectant is applied uniformly on the moistened soil beds. Helps in the treatment of the following:

  • Damping off, caused by fungal species like Pythium sp., Rhizoctoniasolani, does not let seeds germinate, with wilted dark stems near the soil line that easily perish

Regular treatment by Spray method:

A solution of the disinfectant is made and sprayed on the plants once in every 7-15 days helps in treating the following diseases:

  • Anthracnose, by Colletotrichum sp., is identified by small straw coloured spots, that may merge to form large necrotic patches causing yellow wilted leaves; the lesions may crack from the center and turn gray or brown
  • Powdery mildew results in a dusty white velvety coating on leaves and fruit, caused by fungi like Podosphaera sp., Erysiphe sp., Leveillula sp., Oidium sp., Sphaerotheca sp., Uncinula sp.
