ALSTASAN SILVOX (Silver Hydrogen Peroxide based Biodegradable Agriculture Disinfectant) addresses the following areas of concern without causing harmful/toxic effects.
Method of application:
Regular treatment by Drench method:
A fair dilution of this disinfectant is drenched to the soil every 15-30 days. Helps in treating the following tomato diseases:
- Bacterial spot, by Xanthomonas campestris start off as small water soaked leaf spots which merge to form large necrotic areas causing severe defoliation, leaving the fruits vulnerable to sunscald. The fruit infections have raised boundaries with sunken centers giving it a scaly appearance
- Fusarium oxysporum block the vascular system of the leaf causing yellowing and wilting of the same. As the disease progresses to cause necrosis of the older leaves, the fruit yield begins to reduce
- Late blight, by Phytophthora infestans affects all the aerial parts of the plant, from water soaked green areas transforming to brown lesions, with cottony fungal growth on the infected areas
- Root knot nematodes (Meloidogyne sp.) leading to gall formation on the roots, reducing plant life
Regular treatment by Drip method:
The product is added to irrigation water and fed to the soil bed through a drip line. It is advised to repeat this process once in every 15 days to ensure a disinfected tomato cultivation. Helps in preventing/ treatment of:

Regular treatment by Spray method:
A solution of Alstasan Silvox is sprayed on the plants once every 7-15 days. Helps in the treatment of the following diseases:
- Pseudomonas syringae causes dark spots on leaves, often with a yellow radiance

- Phytophthora sp. causes the Buck eye rot of tomato, which initially appears as a brown spot and broadens over the entire fruit surface in concentric rings, producing a soft flesh under the rot. The disease usually develops in fruits that are in direct contact with the soil. It also affects the plant roots causing the plants to wilt completely
Soil fumigation:
A solution is made and applied uniformly on moistened soil beds during tomato cultivation. Helps in the treatment of:
- Root knot nematodes (Meloidogyne sp.) leading to gall formation on the roots, reducing plant life
